I took over ownership of Filcolana in 2009, and one of the things I enjoy most about my job is working with all of Filcolanas talented designers. I love seeing what they create with the new colors I make - or with completely new yarns. Sometimes, though, I can't help it and start designing myself - most often inspired by a new color, or by my sons' need and wants.
