Hanne has a knitwear designers eye for the classic nordic designs. The fit and finish of her designs is excellent, and she has a special affection for childrens' design in Arwetta Classic - the result of which is a number of very popular and often used Filcolana patterns.
Luise grew up surrounded by yarn - and fabric, and has been plyaing with it ever since. Today she designs knitwear with an loving eye for and great attention to the details, and she has a special fondness for hat design. Nothing is left to chance is Luise's design.
Stines designs are often a little different from the norm, as she rarely follows the set rules of knitting - and crochet. Stine tries out many different ideas, and the results are always fun, quirky and very useful little designs.
I took over ownership of Filcolana in 2009, and one of the things I enjoy most about my job is working with all of Filcolanas talented designers. I love seeing what they create with the new colors I make - or with completely new yarns.
