The little rib pattern creates a lovely textured effect in this design. The rib edge can be folded over for a more fitted hat, or work unfolded for a more slouchy look. The rib pattern is most visible if the hat is worked in the solid colours of our Pernilla yarn. If you chose to knit it in one a melange colour, the pattern will be more subtle.
